How I edit my pictures

BEFORE-AFTER

I have had positive comments to some pictures I posted a while ago, and it was actually the first time I tried to edit them a little bit. I am pretty happy with the 'new' ones, I don not know how I should say it but I like how they look a little bit softer.
Whenever I am editing something I always use Pixlr, because that site has a lot of effects with the Pixlr Express, easy ways to crop your picture and change the background with Pixlr Editor and you are also able to make collages with it.
How To Edit It This Way:
♥ Go to pixlr.com
♥ Open Pixlr Express
♥ Open the picture you want to edit by clicking on Browse
♥ Go to Adjustment -> Color
♥ Put the saturation a little higher, I usually go for 30 or something
♥ Change the lightness until it's the way you like. I used around 20 for the pictures above.

Enjoy, and make sure I see your edited pictures! (:

Kinder Surprise

To free myself from my Dutch Literature and stories about insurances and risks in my oh so lovely Economics text book, I decided to do a little shopping since I needed some make-up. I didn't buy that much, but I'll make a post inclusive pictures about it tomorrow. But -guys, be honest- when you're in a line at the pay desk and there is a Kinder Surprise Egg right before your nose and you could just imagine its taste on your tongue, you won't resist it right? So I paid one euro for a egg-shaped children present, packed in a few grams of chocolate. But it was delicious.
Ok, the time has come to re-read all the beautiful sentences of my Literature book and hope I'll make my test well tomorrow. Wish me luck!

CHEERS TO THE FREAKIN' WEEKEND

HELLO BLOG WORLD. Four test down, five more to go! That's also the reason why I didn't blog that much last week - I was drowning in my books, trying to follow my learning schedule, something you may have noticed if you're following me on Instagram. I couldn't be happier with my weekend than right now - On principle I decided not to learn today but watch series and read some blogposts. For you guys: A quick picture diary from my last three days. Am I the only one spending day after day with my books?

★ SNEAKERS ARE A GIRL'S BEST FRIEND ★

The ones who have been following my blog for a long time already, know that I've wanted these wine red Converser since summer 2012 or something, and today I'm finally the proud owner of a pair of them!
Shoes are always a dilemma. I just didn't know whether I should buy shoes with a thick sole, a pair of Vans or a pair of Allstars for this summer. But after seeing how awesome all those outfits become when they were combined with some Allstars (thank you, Norwegian bloggers), I decided I'd go for Allstars.
But we're not at the end yet - next dilemma: Which ones? First I doubted between high ones or low ones, and when I finally knew I wanted high ones, I was unsure if I really wanted the wine red Converses or the white ones. But for I never will be someone who can wear white for even one day and not spill on it, I chose this ones!

What do you think?

London Day 6 - Everything Ends

The very, very last day of my holiday... Actually it only existed of travelling, from about ten o'clock in the morning until eight o'clock in the afternoon. Through England, France, Belgium and of course our own little, beautiful, cold country the Netherlands.
Awh, this pictures make me think of summer so much! Travelling, sea, beach, sun... However, London was such a beautiful place and I've really loved it. One day I'll go back haha.

London Day 2 - I Don't Ever Wanna Leave This Town

Tuesday 07-05 - Sightseeing in London City
So big. So crowded. It doesn't have one place you look without seeing at least one taxi and/or a big red bus. But so, so lovely. Tuesday we visited London City for the first time. We took the big, red bus from the place we stayed to the center of London and the first 'famous thing' we've been through was Oxford Street with all its cool shops (hellooooo Topship, Primark, Forever 21, Hollister and all the others) and all its security man in suits, and the place where I've had my first real  Starbucks Coffee ever: Frappucino Carmel, with a lot of cream - delicious. After that we visited the St. James Park. That wasn't very special, but I like the idea of a park where people can just sit down and chat, sport, sleep, listen to music, run or anything. We should have something like that in my village. After that we took some photographs with guards on the Horse Guards Parade (and tried to photobomb some pictures of others) and took a look on Downing Street, the place where the British prime minister lives. And last but not least we visited the church where among others William and Kate got married: Westminster Abbey, together with London's famous building the Big Ben. I felt like there are so much more things to do and to visit in London, it can't be seen in only five days... But we'll see!

London Day 1 - Where Earth Meets Water

Hi lovelies! The reason for the lack of posts last week was because I was celebrating my holiday in one of the best places I've ever been to so far: London! I really, really loved it and I actually wanted to stay much longer than only a week (from monday to saturday). London was so much bigger than I expexted, but so beautiful. To give you guys a little impression of my holiday, I'll give you a day by day diary of the six days, starting today! And it gives you of course a lot of pictures!

Monday 06-05 - Travelling and Calais
At 6.30 AM -hurray!- we left home to make the trip to our boat, which was waiting for us in Calais (France) and would take us to Dover (United Kingdom). The trip took about five hours and we got stuck in some long, long queues.
After spending too much time in a warm car, we arrived in Calais to take the boat that was supposed to leave at twelve o'clock, but we heard it left too early! What makes us - woken up at 6 AM to have enough time and were despite the queues perfectly on time, even a quarter before time - too late and we were forced to spend the time before the next boat would leave in Calais. But it wasn't that bad, I love those cities with it's old, multi-colored houses.
After spending some time in Calais and getting ourselves some lunch, we were finally able to make the trip over sea to the Beautiful British Island!

Easter Weekend

Helloooooo guys! So, how was you Easter Weekend? I loved it. I've had a lovely time with my family, delicious food, a hundred of photographs and sometimes the sun even came to take a look! Spring is on its way. At least, I hope so! I'm a little bit done with the rain, the snow, the cold and the wind. But anyway. What do you think of the pictures? (:
